the first newsletter
what this will be:
Hi! I’m hoping for this newsletter to eventually become the main (only?) way I’m online as a music-making person. At this time there’s a website and an instagram page, but neither one feels remotely real-deal, and those two sites basically just exist so that people can find and contact the band.
So this will be the first/best place to hear about shows, tour plans, new music, occasional art things, and whatever else. And I do sometimes have (exciting, to me) thoughts about music+art, the internet, and teetering human life, so this might also be a place where I share some of them.
Current Windier news is basically just that the band is reforming. Zoe and I (Asa) are learning new songs with new people and trying to build the musical setup of our dreams. Feeling inscreamably inspired by this band at the moment, and I’m hoping to have our new songs be brave and bare, as much as possible. We are playing a festival in NYC in March, and will be building a tour around it. Get in touch if you wanna help set something up or otherwise involve yourself in a show. Thanks for reading this!
